It's very hypocritical of me to write about this when I myself have stopped blogging, the posts having reduced to once a year. :(
I think Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter are largely responsible for this decline in blogging. (Facebook is blamed for many things these days, poor thing!)
Internet users no longer need a blog to connect with the world.
They could prefer to post quick updates to complain about the weather,
link to articles that infuriated them, comment on news events, share
photos or promote some cause — all the things a blog was intended to do.
I too, prefer posting 'notes' on Facebook about , tweeting about the current status of life and other blah stuff, that too has reduced lately due to final year.
It's easier to reach out to people on Facebook., very few people would take the efforts to visit your blog regularly.
Or is it just me and my laziness to avoid writing up on thoughtful topics? What do you think about the trends in blogging?
I think it will require some sort of a radical change to revive blogging again.
Adios amigo!
P.S. Random. Found it on Tumblr, I do this so many times xD

The Comeback Kid.
After a LOT of contemplation, hesitation, and procrastination ~ I have decided to restart the blog.
In Third year of my dental school now, clinics have started and there's so much to blog about!
If you are expecting rants about Dental school, professors, Awesome friends, backstabbers :P, stories about Mumbai Local travel, *food*, photography, views on every other damn thing happening around, and occasional philosophical sermon posts, random lists -
This is the right place.
And I'm not a fan of long posts so mostly they'd be short. Depends.
But I promise to be regular as far as possible. :D
That's that from the comeback kid!
AND a big thanks to all my friends who kept saying you should start writing again.
*throws chocolates*
Oh and this funny image:

You know you are a photographer when. . .
A post dedicated to all the Shutterbugs .
:)
From personal experience plus observation.
You know you are a photographer when,
You see everything as a photograph even before it's taken.
You have stopped in the middle of a conversation to go get your cam cos something suddenly popped into your mind,
it was a photographic moment.
You get jealous when someone has more megapixel/zoom than you.
You are very particular about every picture, it has to be Perfect.
You've got thousands of photographs but rarely appear in any of them.
1 GB of memory lasts most people a month, but barely an afternoon for you.
You hear, "Wow, your Cam takes really nice photos" -
And you smile, but grit your teeth.
People ask you whether you've really taken the snap, very irritating. :P :)
A trip would take twice the normal time, because you constantly stop to take photos or go back.
You delete more photos in a week than most people make all year.
You’ve crawled on the ground to get a shot of something rusty or tiny.
*Your camera equipment is worth more than your car.
*You need just one more lens.
( *This is from all those awesome pro-photographers :) )
You love shooting, hate editing . (At times)
Your family doesn’t recognize you without a camera covering your face. :P
You cant deny it. Having 3-inch LCD is an amazing thing if your camera has it.
You've gotten into a debate about who has better cameras, Canon or Nikon.
And finally,
You’ve been up before dawn or out in the freezing cold or even done something semi-dangerous…
All for a photograph. :)
I really believe there are things no one would see, if I didn't photograph them ~ Diane Arbus .
